It would be foolish to try and engineer our way out of the climate crisis. It is human “ingenuity” and engineering “innovations” that led us to this crisis in the first place. We rather need to change our behaviour and rethink our ethical relationship with the entire, increasingly vulnerable, living order of which we are an intricate part.
