I believe that the scientific community should consider which interests science serves and failes to serve. It is clear to me that technological fixes like geo-engineering or carbon removal serve vested interests and are used to delay effective and just climate actions, including actual emission reductions. A moratorium should be used to reset priorities in science so that it supports and catalyses the needed transformative changes in societies and economies.
