While the effects of climate change are felt across the globe, the groups dictating the discourse on climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience are concentrated in Western, Early Industrialised nations, reinforcing colonial hierarchies. This solar geoengineering project appears to support, rather than dismantle, this hierarchy. Therefore, as a researcher from India, I do not support what is potentially harmful to my people.
