The vegetation in each place on earth has evolved in interaction with a certain spectrum of light. Solar geoengineering can change the amount of energy the earth receives, and with it, through changes in vegetation, can modify ecosystems on a planetary level in an unknown direction. Are we willing to take that risk to maintain the privileges of a few?
